He Became Everything

Messiah Yeshua is not just the giver of wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption—He is each of these within us.

Scripture Meditation

“But of Him you are in Messiah Yeshua, who became to us wisdom from Elohim—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”(1 Corinthians 1:30)

“I have been crucified with Messiah; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me.”(Galatians 2:20)

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”(Proverbs 2:6)

“This is the name by which He will be called: Adonai Tzidkeinu—the LORD our Righteousness.”(Jeremiah 23:6)

“For God did not call us to impurity, but to holiness.”(1 Thessalonians 4:7)

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”(Ephesians 1:7)

Reflection

How often do we strive to become what only Yeshua can be in us?

We seek wisdom in books, righteousness in behavior, holiness through effort, and redemption through penance. Yet Scripture reminds us that Elohim has placed us in Messiah Yeshua, and Messiah in us. We don’t need to struggle to become wise or holy. We need only to abide.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”(John 15:4)

Yeshua is our chokhmah (wisdom), our tzedakah (righteousness), our kedushah (sanctification), and our ge’ulah (redemption). These are not things He gives from afar—they are who He is within us. This is not theory—it is sacred union.

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”(1 John 5:12)

Imagine Yeshua as a living stream within your soul, flowing gently and powerfully. In your anxiety, He becomes your peace. In your pride, He humbles with kindness. In your emptiness, He fills with divine love.

“The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.”(Philippians 4:7)

Let go of striving today. Surrender the pressure to "get it right." Receive the miracle: He is already here. He is everything.

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”(Psalm 145:18)

Quiet Heart Practice

Take 5–10 minutes in stillness today. Place your hand over your heart and breathe gently. As you inhale, whisper:

“Yeshua, You are my wisdom.”

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”(Proverbs 2:6)

As you exhale, release any anxious striving.

Repeat with these words:

  • “You are my righteousness.”

“This is the name by which He will be called: Adonai Tzidkeinu—the LORD our Righteousness.”(Jeremiah 23:6)

  • “You are my sanctification.”

“For God did not call us to impurity, but to holiness.”(1 Thessalonians 4:7)

  • “You are my redemption.”

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”(Ephesians 1:7)

  • “I belong to You.”

“You are not your own; you were bought at a price.”(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Feel His nearness. Let His presence settle into the deep places of your being.

Prayer of Abiding

Abba, my Father,You have placed me in Messiah Yeshua by Your grace alone.I no longer need to try harder to earn what has already been given. You have made Him to be wisdom for me, righteousness for me, holiness for me, and redemption for me.I rest in that.

Yeshua,Live in me today. Be my calm when I’m afraid,Be my humility when I want control,Be my love when I feel empty.Be Yourself in me.

“The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.”(Philippians 4:7)

Let me walk in gentle trust,Knowing that I no longer live—but You live in me.Let my life become a reflection of Your abiding presence.I surrender, I yield, I receive. You are enough.

Ruach HaKodesh,Fill me afresh. Whisper truth to my spirit.Shape me into a vessel of love,And keep me close to the heart of Messiah.

In the holy name of Yeshua, Amen.

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”(Psalm 145:18)
